Grief Education and Support Series -Friday Day Class

Grief Education and Support Series -Friday Day Class

Start Date: Jul 07, 11:00 AM

End Date: Aug 25, 1:00 PM

Benton Hospice Service Conference Room
2350 NW Professional Drive Corvallis Oregon 97330

Grief is a natural and normal response when someone dies, but it is often not well understood. Benton Hospice Service offers Grief Education and Support Groups to anyone in the community who has experienced a loss, not just those who lost someone on hospice care.

This eight-week session gives you the chance to learn and talk about your grief in a safe, non-judgmental environment, as well as to give and receive support through the listening and empathy of others who are also grieving.

A choice of day or evening sessions is offered, both held in Corvallis. Evening groups meet weekly Thursdays from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Daytime groups meet weekly Fridays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

These groups are open to the entire Linn and Benton County community. They are free of charge. All interested participants must register and complete a brief orientation.

Please contact the Bereavement Coordinator for more information or to register.

You are not alone!

We are pleased to offer donor-supported programs and services. To learn more visit www.bentonhospice.org/donate.
